Unilever Foodsolutions, Pietermaritzburg – Increasing capacity

Unilever Foodsolutions, Pietermaritzburg, undertook an overall upgrade of the facility that took place over several months. The result has been a more efficient layout, better utilisation of equipment, and an improvement in the aesthetics of the production facility.

Anderson Engineering’s contribution included a 2 000 l processing vessel together with a 3 600 l storage tank with the associated pumps, pipework and controls, and a scissor lift. The equipment will be used in the manufacture of Unilever’s chutney and sauce product ranges.
