Anderson Engineering manufactured a range of vessels based on drawings provided by Cataler. The process vessels mix a slurry which is used in the production of catalytic converters for motor vehicles and trucks. The slurry includes a very expensive element, platinum, so in order to minimise wastage, the interior of these vessels was coated in Teflon, which is known for its non-stick properties. The Teflon also makes the vessel easy to clean. The slurry is transported to the filling machines in the 300 l mobile process vessels. These vessels ensure that the slurry doesn’t separate while being transported.
