As a Factory Manager at Anderson Engineering, your key responsibilities will be:
- Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of skilled boilermakers and manufacturing staff to meet and exceed production targets while upholding our commitment to quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all equipment leaving the factory meet our rigorous quality standards and that manufacturing processes are optimized for efficiency and safety.
- Personnel Management: Oversee hiring, training, and development of factory personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Production Planning: Develop and execute production schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and manage inventory effectively.
- Health and Safety: Prioritize and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs, striving for efficiency and cost- effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to drive operational excellence.
- Maintenance of Fleet Vehicles: ensure that vehicles are always in excellent condition, logbooks are completed and services maintained.
Qualifications and Experience
- Formal qualification as boilermaker or relevant (Red seal preferred).
- Minimum 5 years relevant management or supervisory experience (Preferred).
- Commitment to quality manufacturing and high standards.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Analytical thinker
- Computer literacy is essential
- Must have a drivers licence
