Use: The vessel may be used for the manufacture of toothpaste and also, under sterile conditions skin creams, shampoos, cosmetics and pharmaceutical lotions.

General Description: Cylindrical vessel with torispherical bottom and top and the top is fitted with machined mating flanges incorporating a vacuum tight seal. All materials in contact with the product are of S/ S 316 except valve seats.

The vessel is mounted to a column and supported by two tubular legs Dia 80mm. Fitted to the bottom of the vessel is a 75mm outlet ball valve, together with an ingredients inlet valve. The top of the vessel is fitted to a bridge piece and mounted to a column and with the assistance of a hydraulic cylinder the top can be raised for cleaning purposes. The top of the vessel also contains 2 x 22kW high shear discs, together with a light/ sight glass and an anchor stirrer, the anchor stirrer contains a set of scraper blades and is driven by a 5.5kW geared chain drive system.

Ancillary Equipment

• The vessel is fitted with a Hydraulic Power pack required for raising and lowering the top and for inspection or cleaning purposes.
• A liquid ring Vacuum Pump, together with water makeup tank is also supplied and piped to the vessel.
• An IP55 electric panel
