Our apprenticeship programme was launched in 2004 as it had become evident that as a result of the skills shortage in the country the company would have to build its own talent, and so we pioneered a four-year apprenticeship programme. In this way, Anderson continues to build its collective expertise and we believe it contributes significantly to the long-term success of the company. The programme now includes both boilermakers and draughtsmen. Our apprenticeship scheme is delivering good, young people who work the Anderson way.

We currently have six Apprentices in training, which accounts for +/- 10% of our staff complement. Over the last 10 years we have had 12 apprentices successfully qualify.
